God's Glory on the Hills

I stepped out the door into the snowy world surrounding me.  I looked at the hills and was amazed to see the beautiful light on the snow.  It was like all of God's glory was resting on the hills surrounding me. 

It was stunningly beautiful.  It made me think.  "If this sunrise is beautiful, what will the glory of Heaven look like?"  It seemed to me like a snapshot of God's glory, but greatly dimmed.  God promises to write His glory (character) in our hearts.  Will we let Him?
