Alpine Flowers of the Beartooth

Phlox
About 3 weeks ago we went to the Beartooth Wilderness Area.  There were vast fields of wild flowers covering 100s of acres. At night no light blemished the vast fields of stars.  This is God's country.

At almost 11,000 feet, the Beartooth Highway is one of the most highest passes in America.  Most of the flowers up there are smaller then a penny.  And there is not a tree in sight.  All you can seen vast meadows of yellow, orange, pink and blue in a nest of green.

God taught me a lesson with the little alpine flowers.  This can good even when they are small.

If you are just driving you are driving by at 60 mph, all it looks like is a blur of green.  But when you get out, and get on your knees, you can see all the little blessings there that God planted there for you and me.
