Fully Rely on God

My pet, an Orange Legged Monkey Frog.
Frog: Fully Rely on God.

Frogs fully rely on God.  Why shouldn't we?

Winged Wonders

From the beauty of a barn owl,
to the magnificent grandeur of a red tailed hawk,
raptors are amazing wonders of God's creation.
Man has never been able to design a machine of flight that makes no noise,
but God has made a magnificent bird that can fly without any detectable sound.
God has designed the eye of a hawk to be more powerful then man's most powerful binoculars.  And the ear of the owl is more sensitive then the most expensive listening device imaginable.
Have you ever admired the souring flight of a hawk?

Do you think a plane can fly that well?                 (Not unless it was made by God.)

Smiles...

We serve a God who came down to this earth to save us from our sins.  He came down from being the King of the Universe, to being the lowly of lowly, growing up in a town famous for it's ruffians and thieves.  He was crucified on a cross.  He hung in agony there, to save us.  Then why do we sometimes frown and pout about little things that go wrong in our life?

We should always have a smile on our face, knowing that God has rescued us from sin!

Beauty Like a Butterfly

One lovely Sabbath we left for the mountains near our home.  There were many flowers.  With the flowers were special little insects that seemed to float on the air-- amazing creatures that make flying look effortless.  Butterflies are one of God's greatest parcels of beauty.  They aren't very big, but their beauty makes up for their size.

So should we be.  Though we, as children, are small, we should strive to develop an admirable character: gentle, full of love and grace.  It should more than make up for our size.

Little Blessings

When you go places keep your eyes open, because in every place you look God has put something special.  In this case, for me, God had put some chipmunks.  They weren't very big, but they sure made me smile big!

To Quench Our Thirst

The Holy Bible, God's word, is like cool, sweet river of water to quench our thirst for God.

This photo of very cold water, was taken near the summit of the Beartooth Highway, with me kneeling in the mud, and my camera on a tripod, in the water.  I finally got this photo after nearly getting hypothermia.  I used a Pentax K200D with an 18 - 55mm lens, at f22.

Let Our Light Shine

Let's let are light shine for God.

We were camping high in the Beartooth Mountains and sitting around the campfire eating dinner, when I got the idea to take photos of our campfire.  This photo was taken at a shutter speed of 4000, in broad daylight, with my Pentax K200D, and a 18-55mm lens.
